No, but the DD is important. I've been burned too many times trying to only play charts & L2 with no context behind what's happening. You can enter and exit quickly without that context but you'll get burned eventually if you have no idea what's going on with the company (i.e. upcoming dilution, or RS, or new contract negotiations taking place, etc.). The more info the better when it comes to long term profitability.

Even Tim Sykes does DD and takes it into account when trading :)
