Most software based firewalls are bundled security suites made up of several different vendors programs (anti-spam, anti-keylogger,anti-virus..ect...ect) that are configured and sold by the actual "branded product name" as a whole (Say ZoneAlarm for instance).
Toms "Ecrypt One" could be/would be a viable and effective tool in any one of a number of "bundled" scenarios If Bravatek chose to license it out that way.
Email is one of multiple areas that security measures MUST ALSO be done! Users can receive emails with attachments that have viruses or even just opening an email. RSA knows all too well about email attachments -- the excel spreadsheet contained a zero-day exploit that installed a backdoor through an Adobe Flash vulnerability!
There's another company/SFT that has key Cyber Security IP - Out of Band Multi-Factor Authentication (OOB/MFA) and Keystroke Encryption. SFT IP will be embedded with INTEL TPM and McAfee ePO compliant.
BVTK MAP with CrucialTrak and sister company CrucialTek will be be part of the User Authenication process using Biometrics, and will use SFT OOB/MFA IP.

Then of course network, browser and AV security is also required in addition to email security -- while keeping in mind AV fixes known viruses and doesn't prevent. This is why I run SFT Keystroke Encryption IP on my personal devices. If by chance virus does exploit, the bad guys can NOT see what you type and steal your info!
DISA has been researching solutions to replace CACs since 2015. Three functions of the CAC: 1. User ID for Authentication cert 2. Digital Signature cert and 3. Encryption cert. So I covered #1 above and....
I use GOV/MIL networks/computers on a daily basis. McAfee is built into the overall s/w baseline. INTEL did a deal with TPG and spun-off McAfee last year and one reason was to improve the McAfee security stack for an awesome overall security platform.
IMSO: In FY18 (starts 1 OCT 17) we will see FED Agencies start migrating to Ecrypt One (E1) Email Enterprise and new McAfee Endpoint Security Platform bundled with SFT IP (needed for E1 User Authentication).
The above will eventually branch out to more GOV Agencies outside the FEDs to include contracting companies that work with the GOV and also into the commercial sectors - Financial, Healthcare, etc.
2017Q4 and 2018 is going to be very exciting times! ;-)
