What isn't mentioned about that 1994 agreement that Carter negotiated is that North Korea likely never stopped developing nuclear material for bombs as they promised to in return for $4 billion worth of alternative energy sources from the US (including nuclear reactors for the production of energy - nice job Carter and Clinton). North Korea ended up refusing to allow inspectors into their country and simply declared the agreement null and void. So here we are today dealing with an insane ruler of North Korea with nuclear weapons and threatening to use them on the US and its allies.
Tehn again, maybe he is not insane. The same tactics worked well against previous presidents

Ayock,...i really liked Jimmy Carter. a man of wise words...thoughtful and introspective.

he didn't or wasn't allowed to accomplish much during his presidency,...he wasn't a member of the good ole bouy club,...i doubt that he missed the invitation...he is much more substance than that.

the fact that he offered his name and service to Habitat for Humanity speaks to who this man is.

yep,..good man, and good former president.
