Was that question regarding exemptions a generalized form you were filling out or was it specific to the offering you were applying to? Sounds like your broker was asking you in a generalized way but I could be wrong. I know nothing about private placements and that is why I stay away from them. I suggest that you do the same. If you don't understand something why would you be putting your money into it? You can call up the broker and ask them what each line of questioning you don't understand specifically means.
