Dr. Huestis is one of the world’s foremost experts on the effects of marijuana use on driving impairment. Dr. Huestis is a sought after international speaker, scholar and scientist. Dr. Huestis was a tenured Senior Investigator and Chief of Chemistry and Drug Metabolism at National Institute for Drug Abuse (NIDA’s) Intramural Research Program (IRP) in Baltimore, Maryland and a Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (retired in 2016).
