Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Arcam Group

Background
Arcam is seeking a high profile professional to develop, implement and lead marketing activities across the Arcam Group. Following the recent rapid growth and the acquisitions of AP&C and DiSanto, the company is adding this new role to its executive team of the Group.
As a relatively small, fast growing and agile organisation we seek an individual that has experience and has excelled as a CMO and yet enjoys bringing a start-up to a performance level of a mid-sized company. We seek someone that really enjoys the challenges of building and does not mind being in the mix when it comes to actually performing marketing tasks.

Responsibilities, tasks
The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible on a Group level for branding, marketing communications, market research, trade shows, product planning, advertising and promotions. The goal is to structure Arcam’s offering to the industry, drive market awareness and create sales leads.

The tasks include;
- Create and update market plans for the Group and support Group entities in creating market plans for their respective areas.
- Product planning to structure Arcam’s offering to the industry.
- Create brand awareness.
- Manage market research.
- Planning and arranging trade shows, in cooperation with sales.
- Planning and arranging advertising including online channels.

The CMO will work closely with marketing functions in the Arcam Group entities.

Qualifications
We are looking for a top candidate with a proven record of marketing for a high end, technology driven business to business industry. The right candidate has a hands on experience from a start-up environment in a capital goods technology business like 3Dprinting or machine tooling.
We envision a candidate combining analytical skills, creative skills and intrapersonal skills.
The successful candidate must have a demonstrated track record of building and motivating strong, world-class teams. Previous success/experience in a start-up environment is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, excellent leadership and people skills are essential.

Reporting relationships
The Chief Marketing Officer, Arcam Group will report to the CEO of Arcam Group.

Compensation
The compensation package will be highly competitive, and will consist of a base salary, performance-driven bonus and a stock saving program.

Location
The position is based either at Arcam’s US office in Boston, MA, or at the office in Mölndal Sweden.
