“On the death of a friend, we should consider that the fates through confidence have devolved on us the task of a double living, that we have henceforth to fulfill the promise of our friend's life also, in our own, to the world.”
Henry David Thoreau
I have dealt with friends and family (and personally) with Cancer.
You just shake your head and keep asking, "WHY?".
The answer evades us.
The letter from Lynn was with unspoken pain, but you know it was there.
With hopes he is now pain free and comfortable.
I too will miss Qureka's views and posts.
Life is so fragile, yet we all take it (and control of it) for granted everyday.
Please pass comfort and regards to his family.
Regards,
Old Joe
