#59687 RE: rooster #59681

rooster -- not responsive -- as you know, these batshit-crazy and thoroughly fascist Christianist freaks Hagee and Parsley aren't just 'supporters' of McCain

McCain actively courted John Hagee, and was right there with Hagee for Hagee's announcement of the endoresement:

"All I can tell you is I'm very proud to have pastor Hagee's support," Mr. McCain said.

McCain also actively courted Rod Parsley, and has called Parsley his 'spiritual quide' and campaigned with him:

You don't think is pastor is using his notoriety as a bully pulpit?

I think you can walk into any church in America today and find something you'd disagree with.

People who swallow their religion hook line and sinker have no business in politics. At the very least they should not let their religion influence their governance.

If that was the case every time we changed presidents this country would be changing religion.

There are 52 Sundays you can't tell me people actually accept all 52 sermons. lol.

If that was the case you'd never see a baptist in a liquor store or playing the lottery.
