This link here is old, but it shed a light on Genta's activities concerning Genasense.
Salus Inc. was bought by Genta to aquire its business in relation to Genasense.

"Salus Therapeutics is an Alumni of the Venture Funding Program and presented at the 2002 Investors Choice Venture Capital Conference. They Succeeded in raising several hundred thousand dollars following Investors Choice, and were acquired by Genta inc. in 2003 for and estimated 30 million dollars."
