Instead of pretending to have gold on some useless lease, they'll pretend to have oil on some useless, worn out oil field in Texas.

No gold was produced...not even close. No significant oil will be produced, either. Gouger is associated with other oil scams in Texas including RRRI and Clayton Smith--who ran an infamous scam known as TNOG. A lot of investors got completely FOOLED with that one.
