Sanford Nowlin Reporter- San Antonio Business Journal Email | Google+ | Twitter | Facebook Wichita, Kansas-based energy company American Petro-Hunter Inc., amid a strategy shift, says it’s negotiating to buy a workforce accommodation facility — or so-called “man camp” — in the Eagle Ford Shale. The company, via a news release, says is moving away from developing oil-and-gas properties in Kansas and into buying and building real estate such as the Eagle Ford camp, which offers more consistent cash flow. American Petro-Hunter didn’t identify the specific location of the Eagle Ford camp. Officials did not return phone calls at press time Thursday morning. The company also will develop new workforce accommodation facilities and develop oilfield-service yards in energy plays including South and West Texas, officials also say. It plans to develop more units at the Eagle Ford camp, potentially boosting its cash flow.
