NWPO Spare Backup Retains BIG Design, Inc. for the Development of Their ``Drop in the Box'' Promotional Material

PALM DESERT, Calif., Feb 22, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Newport International Group (OTCBB:NWPO) announced today that its subsidiary, Spare Backup, Inc., has retained BIG Design, Inc. to develop its "drop in the box" promotional material. The promotional material will be incorporated within the products of Spare Backup's OEM partners. In some cases, the drop in the box promotions will offer a $45 dollar discount towards a trial for Spare Backups services with the purchase of a specific item.
