INCT Focusing on Powder River Basin for Strategic Growth

Innocent is a development stage oil and gas exploration and development company focused on properties in North America. State statistics show that Wyoming’s oil industry produced over 60 million barrels of oil in 2013, and that the Powder River Basin accounted for a third of that production output. According to a summary report of Wyoming’s oil and gas resources issued in February 2014, Wyoming currently accounts for over 8 percent of total U.S. production output. The report also noted that the Wyoming State Geological Survey forecasts that Wyoming’s oil production will increase to more than 66 million barrels of oil in 2014.

Innocent has signified interest in exploring other promising areas in Wyoming and South Dakota as well. In the Powder River Basin, the company has identified the area where the objective oil-bearing formations are less than 2,500 feet below the surface as its area of interest. For management of the exploration project in the Powder River Basin, Innocent has turned to the expertise of Evergreen, a company with over 150 years in the oil and gas industry. Evergreen’s responsibilities include selecting areas to lease, drilling exploratory wells, drilling development wells, and producing oil and gas found. Evergreen also has conducted and will continue to perform regional and local geological studies to define prospects that are worthy of acquisition of oil and gas leases.
