At BMAK, I know Burt Arnold quite well on a personal basis. He has cooked me dinner at his Rolling Hills estate on many occasion. Unlike his brother Chuck, Burt is not a "punisher" of criminal outfits trading with four letter symbols like John Fiero was. Also, some of his traders (one I stay in touch with regularly, especially after nearly 25 years of a colleague) came from J Alexander in downtown LA after Jim Alexander decided to retire and hang up his shoes.
Burt, nor his LA traders do not target issuers and just short them for fun. But Burt does get nasty CEO proxies who like to dump blocks of stock.
Typical CEO to blame Burt for shorting their stock, when in fact the CEO is the one dumping the stock out of the firm.
What pile of scum these CEOs are. Do they think we are that naive?
I knew Burt going back to when he was sitting around the house his father left him doing nothing.
His brother Chuck, on the other hand, would stab you in the back while he was raping you, and with the other hand would pick pocket your billfold.
