It could be wash-trades or cross-trades. MM's are granted the ability to create imaginary liquidity because of their risk. Wash-trades can be used to entice traders into buying at wrong time, or used to scare traders into selling at the wrong time. Just because it's posted on L2 doesn't necessarily mean the trade was "Real". This is a very dirty game. wink
