Comedian Tim Wilson, who incorporated NASCAR into many of his comedy routines, died Wednesday night of a heart attack, according to various websites.
Wilson, 52, was from Columbus, Ga. His death was first reported by the website TheComicsComic.com.
Wilson was both a comedian and a country music artist who co-wrote Jeff Foxworthy’s hit song, "Redneck 12 Days of Christmas."
One of Wilson’s most famous comedy songs was “The NASCAR Song,” which was about a kid who was born in the Talladega grandstands and named “Dale Darrell Waltrip Richard Petty Rusty Awesome Bill Irvan Gordon Earnhardt Smith ... Johnson, Jr.”
Lol, one of my favorite guests on the "Bob and Tom" radio show.
