Our annual PDAC Power Breakfast is back, this time to focus on graphite, with Focus Graphite (CVE:FMS) and Energizer Resources (TSE:EGZ) presenting to a room full of inquisitive investors early on Monday, March 3rd.

The event is taking place before the prolific PDAC Conference in Toronto, with attendees welcome to arrive at 7am for a complimentary continental breakfast. The presentations will begin promptly at 7:30am. After the presentations are complete, the directors of the presenting companies will be available to take questions.

The Proactive Investors One2One forums promise to provide direct access to the bosses of some of the nation’s most dynamic growth companies. In six years, Proactive has organized more than 300 events and introduced investors to some of the stock market’s best-performing stock market listed companies.

Indeed, this time is no different, with directors of Focus Graphite and Energizer Resources set to blow investors' minds away as they make their way down to the annual PDAC event.

Focus Graphite (CVE:FMS) made graphite mining history in December when it secured a 10-year offtake agreement with a Chinese industrial conglomerate for the purchase of up to 40,000 tonnes per year of Lac Knife's concentrate production. This agreement introduces a new level of stability to the company's Lac Knife project in Quebec, just as China announces a halt to graphite production in Shandong Province effectively putting 20% of China’s flake graphite production on hold. The company's goal is to become one of the lowest cost producers of high purity flake graphite in the world. Last month, it reproted a 92% increase in the measured and indicated resource at its Lac Knife project, to 9.6 million tonnes grading 14.77% Cg.

Following this presentation, investors will also get to hear from Energizer Resources, (TSE:EGZ)(OTCQX:ENZR), which just closed a C$7.5 million financing to fund its feasibility study at the giant Molo graphite deposit in Madagascar. This news followed confirmation that the company has a high proportion of "premium jumbo and large flake graphite" at its Molo deposit, reporting first results from its pilot plant operations. Of the highlights, the average grade of the extra-large flake, which it said is greater than "+48 mesh", was 97.7% total carbon (Ct). The results confirm the strength of the proposed flowsheet, and that the graphite flakes from the Molo deposit can be upgraded to high grade concentrate by means of a simple flotation process.

The bankable feasibility study for Molo is a big step in satisfying the due diligence requirements of financial institutions that are interested in providing mine and equipment financing during development. The company last year even signed a preliminary deal with Cat Financial for potential project financing for the future Molo mine, which based on Energizer's preliminary economic assessment and pilot plant updates, ranks as one of the top flake graphite projects in terms of quality and size in the world. The feasibility study, which is now underway, is expected sometime in the third to fourth quarter of this year.

The Graphite Power Breakfast --- to take place at the Intercontinental Hotel, Caledon Room --- is suitable for sophisticated & private investors, investment advisors, fund managers, financial institutions, hedge funds, buy & sell side analysts and journalists.
