As many others have expressed, the question which has been weighing heavily is the lack of results in Canada.

I wrote this question to the Company today, after reading Ed's message, and said that today's report only makes the question more acute. If AsepticSure is so amazing, why haven't Wood Wyant and/or C3 been successful in marketing it?

Here's Ed's reply, which he gave permission to post:

The Canadian Health Care funding system is extremely complex and under strain. The funding process for hospitals has made this a very drawn-out process for our distributors. Progress is being made, but it has not been easy. In the current atmosphere they are all being asked to cut budgets. We believe the results out of BGH, as addressed in today's message, combined with behind-the-scenes actives of WW, C3 and Dr. Shannon, are slowly beginning to shift that situation. The hospitals and ultimately the Ministries of Health need to better understand the facts/results out of BGH and apply them to their own situations, in order to create the mind shift needed to prioritize AsepticSure for both their infection control and cost-related concerns.

We are literally in the middle of some activities at the moment that should gradually bring a shift. It is a challenging situation, the solutions are not at all easy in Canada mostly due to the fiscal cutbacks and difficulties each hospital is facing - we are working at the highest levels to gain acceptance, but there is still process to take place to create available funds.

Canadian hospitals are actually far more cash-strapped than US hospitals - it is a long story. In the end, we believe the system will be widely accepted as needed and cost-justified in Canada, just as it will be in the US. The reasoning behind that belief was explained in today's update. Although the actual costs per patient as well as the cost variables are quite different for each country, the business case speaks for itself and is clearly in AsepticSure's favor.

Incidentally, we are not seeing the same problems in conversations within the US. Hospital administrators in the US are gravely concerned that ObamaCare cutbacks will see more HAI costs shifted to the hospital. There is clearly a growing excitement now in the US, as expressed to us by hospital administrators since the BGH press release, that this system is needed and will save money.
