That's where you lose most sane Americans. You can have guns for your protection in the home but why need them outside the home unless in rural areas? I suppose when one is frightened and fearful of everything one can seek counseling but why subject the nation to people who are frightened about needless things by subjecting the whole nation to their fears?

Also why does one need the thrill of shooting a semi-automatic or even an automatic rifle or pistol. Certainly not for hunting and not for protection. If one is so needing the thrill of shooting those for orgasmic pleasure I would suggest paying another to help achieve that or asking a friend. We certainly don't need 100 or 30 round clips nor even 10 for hunting purposes and I'm sure handguns and rifles and shotguns are adequate for personal protection. Having all these insecure people who think they need guns to protect themselves wherever they go is giving in to people's unfounded insecurities and we should help them rather than have them continue with their affliction.

Since when is background checks infringing on people's rights? Or limiting gun purchases or keeping track of gun stores inventory and sales records? Or having all sales recorded so as not to give guns to criminal elements?
