Yes companies use the grey market to scam unsophisticated people who think they are investing in something when, in reality, there was never anything there. Worthless companies selling worthless stock to people who don't know how to do proper DD or investigate what it is they are buying. That's the grey market and the pink market. Something like 9 companies out of thousands upon thousands moved to the Amex or higher over a 4 year period. Can you name any of them? No you can't. Do you know why? Because they weren't promoted, weren't top boards on IHUB, weren't spammed to your email and moved on without a peep here. What you hear about are cons. Crooked people puffing up and pretending to be something while they make a living selling you a worthless piece of paper you believe is the key to riches. Happens thousands of times here every single day.
