trueblue, That's the million dollar question for the next court case on who is going to pay the Fisher's Legal Bills. Did Jay's Lawyers know the emeralds were garbage? According to Court records the people that examined the Emeralds overseas for Jay, gave a report basically saying the emeralds were enhanced and were not valuable. Those experts were not called into Court by Jay's Attorney calling the shots.

The appraiser for Jay, who I spoke to outside the Court Room. She also told me that in her opinion the emeralds were not worth more then $50K and she gave Jay's attorneys that report. When she gave it to them, she was told her services were no longer needed. As a matter of Fact, I think the Fisher's called her as a witness in the Fraud Trial, not Jay's attorneys.

I was also told that Jay and his attorney's had all these reports on the emeralds Prior to 60 minutes shooting that episode, but did not disclose the Reports to 60 Minutes.

It is my opinion that David Horan withdrew as Jay's Attorney when he saw the reports and that Jay's other Attorney's tried to withdraw from the case after the first Trial. The only attorney that I don't think withdrew was Silverstein and according to court records, he was also an investor.

I'm sure that the Federal Investigation that is on going with fill in most of the blanks.

As a disclaimer: I am not accusing any of Jay's Attorney's of any wrong doing.

Just my personal opinion
