I think my technical analysis doesn't sound as silly as that, but I'll take another look at it, and if it does seem like gobbledegook to non TA people, then I might just stop doing it.

I presume that those who understand and do TA, are looking at similar analytic points, and if theyre not, they should be, and
someone posting good TA data is no different than when a Fundy analyst posts fundamental news data or other fundamentals, as something to consider important to look at.

If you are a good Technical analyst, theres no reason to be snide or cynical in responding to mine. you might instead add what vision you can, something I might have overlooked, or a few different points to see, and a fair discussion could add better vision. But your comment just sounded sarcastic and meaningless.

but if I can squeeze out something of value to your post, it would be the idea that one single price point is a target..... this price or that price, the way your post sounded.
and I always say that I don't look for a single price point, I always look for a zone. an area.... and for GDX the area I see as big resistance is 23-24-25 area.and start with that.
adding other indicators begins to show the technical picture.

But as I say, if it all sounds like nonsense to people, I will stop doing it.
