KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2006--Spectrum Health, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit integrated delivery networks provides high-quality care at more than 140 locations. Together with Cerner Corp., Spectrum Health unified its facilities and processes to gain operational efficiencies and improve safety.
Since implementing a variety of Cerner solutions, including a person-centric continuum of care record, multidisciplinary bedside documentation, medical device interfaces, scheduling, emergency and pharmacy, Spectrum Health has experienced quantifiable benefits. The health system has decreased costs for record storage, improved the quality of documentation, reduced duplicative procedures and improved patient and medication safety.
