I have a question. I'm not savvy on "short selling" and exactly how/why it works. So, if short sellers are trying to scare people into selling, how does that benefit the short sellers? Maybe I need to be reminded what short selling is exactly, first, in order to understand this. It's been 30 years since I probably had one class covering this in college. I vaguely remember, but not enough to make sense of this.
