Swisher Hygiene Inc. has completed the sale of unidentified assets for $3.2 million in cash plus future consideration dependent on January 2014 revenue generated by the assets. Charlotte-based Swisher (Nasdaq:SWSH) provides hygiene and sanitizing products and services to the food-service and other industries. In recent months, the company has been selling business lines outside of that concentration. “We are pleased to have completed the sale of another portion of our non-core assets, and the additional cash received from this sale will be used to fund our operating plan,” said William Pierce, president and chief executive. “Our focus continues to be squarely on maximizing customer satisfaction through providing best-in-class service, gaining new business and further improving our overall cost structure.” Swisher didn’t identify the buyer.
