Jan 3 2014, 15:57 The Eastern Virginia district court presiding over Vringo's (VRNG +7.7%) patent suit against Google, AOL, and others has awarded the company supplemental damages and prejudgment interest related to a 2012 jury infringement verdict.A ruling on post-judgment interest has been deferred, pending the submission of calculations from Vringo and the defendents.Relying on a 20.9% apportionment rate and a 3.5% royalty rate, the court has awarded Vringo $16.8M in supplemental damages, of which $15.8M are meant to come from Google. Prejudgment interest amounts to less than $540K, of which $278K is meant to come from Google, $140K from AOL, and $117K from InterActiveCorp.The ruling (.pdf)
