Hilarious….a burst disk is dirt cheap…it's purpose is to relieve pressure in a system in the event of a mechanical failure…..a valve for example….instead of allowing pressure to rise in the system and damage components it bursts and routes the pressure to the exhaust stack and alerts the operators of a failure….it's SUPPOSED to burst…..it's both a safety device and a money saving device……how do i know?……one of them burst when i was there years ago….it's nothing new much less dramatic.
