The "ELECTRONIC TESTING PROGRAM"

was implemented due to a concern by management as to the effect of ozone-hydrogen peroxide on "the very expensive electronics found throughout hospitals"

-----

"More studies are needed to examine the applicability and compatibility of this system in actual hospital facilities, such as operating rooms, patient rooms, laboratories, and morgues, and with the materials and equipment that might be exposed to this ozone-based disinfection process" (Shannon et al., 2011)

-----

Medizone: "Room contents, including medical devices are safe from corrosive damage..."

REALLY?

------------------------

Does ozone-hydrogen peroxide, in the concentrations used, have the potential to damage Optical Equipment?

If no, then why are users instructed to REMOVE ALL OPTICAL EQUIPMENT from the space to be disinfected with ozone-hydrogen peroxide?

------------------------

Transfer of pathogens, if resident on untreated OPTICAL EQUIPMENT, to another area of the hospital?

------------------------

First there were/are technical issues and now OPTICAL EQUIPMENT has to be removed prior to treatment! What's next?
