Wayne Doss - Director and CEO
Wayne Doss has served as CFO and CEO for more than 25 years in both public and private companies, including Keller Industries, a $250 million building products company with over 4,000 employees, where he was CEO for nine years. Over the past five years Doss has consulted and served various capacities assisting small public companies with start-ups, interim officer positions, accounting issues and regulatory filings. Doss is a graduate from the University of Maryland with degrees in accounting and business management.
Patrick J. Johnson - Director and COO
Patrick Johnson was a journalism and communications major at the University of Oregon from 1994 to 1997, and attended the Craig James Broadcast School in 2000. Johnson has always had an eye for developing new companies with upside potential, and has had a wide variety of experience in several key areas. In 2002 Johnson created Pro Select Technology Consulting, a consulting firm focused on project managing custom home technologies such as smart homes and theater systems. Next was Select Source International, an executive search firm whose primary focus was in coordinating the hiring of pharmacists for various corporations in both temporary and permanent positions.
Since then, Johnson has held C-level positions in the oil and gas, consumer products, and neutraceutical industries in both public and private sectors, as well as consulting in the private equity, mining, gaming, entertainment, Internet, construction and corporate finance industries. Patrick has assisted several charities and non-profit organizations with his volunteer and fund raising efforts. Johnson founded The Patrick Johnson Foundation, a not-for-profit organization in 2003.It is dedicated to public service in the work of children’s and veteran’s hospitals, and seeks to eradicate joblessness by providing scholarships and job training initiatives to high school and college students, military veterans, single mothers and the formerly incarcerated in the ethical and socially constructive integration of sports and business.
During his NFL career, Johnson pledged money for the Baltimore Ravens/Police Athletic League Challenge of Champions, and also modeled in a Tommy Hilfiger Fashion Show to help raise money for the Living Classrooms Foundation of Baltimore, an educational program that targets at-risk youth, and also spearheaded the fifth annual “Baltimore Reads Books for Kids Day” at Baltimore Polytechnic High School in 2000, helping the group collect nearly 25,000 children’s books that were distributed to low-income families. In 2003 while playing for the Washington Redskins, he interned with GOPAC, a political action committee designed to train candidates for grassroots-level campaigning. He has accepted several keynote speaking engagements and is an accomplished broadcast journalist and published writer, having authored/co-authored articles in Worth, Overtime, and Dancetrack magazines as well as co-hosted and appeared as a guest analyst for many sportstalk radio and television shows.
Patrick was a two-sport athlete at the University of Oregon, excelling in both football and track, winning numerous awards and championships during his collegiate athletic career. As an Olympic-caliber sprinter, Johnson won the Pac-10 Championships in the 400 meters, an NCAA All-American at 100 and 200 meters, and defeated the legendary Carl Lewis in a 100-meter race at the Drake Relays in 1995. As an All-American wide receiver at Oregon, he was Offensive MVP of the 1997 Las Vegas Bowl and was also a member of UO’s 1994 Rose and 1995 Cotton Bowl teams. Johnson was the 42nd overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft and earned a Super Bowl ring when the Baltimore Ravens defeated the New York Giants 34-17 in Super Bowl XXXV.
