On the Move Systems Corp. (OMVS) Explores Adding Transportation Option to Service Offerings
On the Move Systems, a company that is concentrating on offering unique travel and transportation options online, reported in a news release today it’s in negotiations with a Florida-based transport company. The transport company offers shipping services to the Bahamas and Cuba.
OMVS has been looking to add intermodal freight transport options to its service options portfolio since August 2013. Another area of travel the company has been recently concentrating on as well is niche air travel. By developing strategic partnerships with intermodal transportation companies, OMVS says it will be positioned to meet travel consumer demands that are currently largely untapped by well-established online travel industry enterprises.
OMVS CEO Robert Wilson notes that partnering with well-established, successful intermodal transportation providers is a major step forward.
“The company we’re in talks with is a successful, growth-oriented company that can offer services that customers want, but can’t easily get online,” he said. “Offering options unavailable elsewhere is what’s going to make our new online transportation portal a success.”
OMVS plans for its online transportation portal to also feature other travel options including charter flights, pet shipping, luxury car services, and more. It is scheduled to be rolled out and up-and-running at a time next year.
