HWS Utility Services, LLC (HWSUS), a subsidiary of the California Water Service Group, provides non-regulated water and wastewater services through operations and maintenance contracts along the Kona Coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. HWSUS was formed with the 2007 acquisition of Waimea-based Island Utility Services.

Its affiliation with the third largest water utility company in the United States gives HWSUS the financial resources and professional expertise to help other water providers, including municipalities and privately owned utility companies, provide their customers with reliable water supplies that meet increasingly stringent federal and state water quality standards. HWSUS provides a range of services, including meter reading, billing, customer service, water quality testing, and full water and wastewater system operations.
