This is Dan Honig.The following is a letter of explanation regarding online complaints.
We are troubled that these public complaint board postings have reared their ugly heads.We were of course aware of them,but since they were untrue,malicious and petty attacks,we consider them to be nothing more than annoyances and do not wish to give them anymore attention or weight then they deserve,but recognize that in the internet driven world we live in,that seeing these may have given you paste and certainly warrant a brief response from us.Just to set the record straight
The website"...pissedconsumer.com"is a non reviewed,non verified site which exists for two apparently conflicting purposes.It may give disgruntled or victimized consumers an opportunity to have their say,and give voice to their grievances.In this case is being used by a disgruntled ex-employee of Mr Honigs to slander his name personally and in business.His motives are to drive clients from from Mr Honig and unfairly compete with him using these unfounded and slanderous accusations.He sprinkles a smattering of truth and utterly distorts the rest.Yes.Mr.Honig and Waterworkz were involved in a bankruptcy,and Mr Honig was ordered by the Bankruptcy court,to accept no payments,perform no work,make nor accept any payments while until the disposition of the case.The other complaint from the same site reiterates the same rhetoric.The only way to remove the comments from these pages are for the poster themselves to remove them.They obviously have no motivation to do so,they are too busy trying to steal business and ruin a mans good reputation.Most of these attacks began on or around February 2010,and after a flurry of activity the furor mostly died down,with only an occasional posting to keep the thread alive and doing damage.To comment on them directly would only fuel the fire,and validate these wild allegations.Mr.Honig stands by his work,his reputation as a long standing member of the local business community and a professional in his area of expertise.
