I read questions such as “Why doesn't PRPCF simply sell the Chandgana Coal and forget about the Power Plants?

My answer...
Prophesy's coal deposit's at the Chandgana Coal Projects total 1.172 billion tonne in the M&I category.,

Future plans are for Prophecy Power Generation LLC (PPG) to build a total of 6 – 600MW Mine/Mouth Power Plants that will provide electric power for both Mongolia and China.

The coal deposit that will power the first proposed Chandgana Tal 600MW Mine/ Mouth Power Plant has a measured resource of 124 million tonne which is 10.6% of Chandgana Coal's various deposits. To give one a rough idea, Chandgana Tal can possibly supply coal to the first 600 MW Power Plant for about 34 years.

One reason that they are not selling coal to other Power Plants is that it is planed for use by Prophecy Power Generation LLC (PPG) for the future 600MW Power Plants.

The coals are lignites with a high moisture content which lower it's Heating Value (kcal/kg) but is ideal for the Mine/Mouth Power Plants that PPG is planing to build. In addition Mongolia can export its higher rank thermal coals and increase the value of its currency. This is not to say that PPG's Coals will not be salable even as transportation could be a problem. Simple air drying could increase their Heating Value (kcal/kg) and remove a large part of its shipping weight, but why transport it when its intended purpose is the electricity provided for their proposed Mine/Mouth 600MW Power Plamts.
