Actually, the seat pitch (distance between rows of seats) was significantly increased for more leg room & greater passenger comfort, and other upgrades are either done or planned to be done, from what I was told by a contractor who is managing a lot of work for them. Also, Baltia put a fortune into upgrading the cockpit systems - making them far more advanced than other 200 series 747's, with many "glass" features and state-of-the-art navigation - so these last two Delta/NWA -200's will be in far better shape than when they flew for Delta.

Baltia is planning good passenger entertainment, including free wifi. Yes, some newer aircraft provide some additional amenities - - - but . . . those aircraft come with a $200 million to $400 million/each price tag, which would kill a start-up. I believe they will make a good showing with aircraft that are in good condition - without the threat of huge debt - that bodes well for shareholders, IMHO.
