ahh yes the old hyperdynamcis case
someone writes a check someone takes it but tries not issue according to agreements:

The final resolution for the Civil Judicial Action in 2001 by Hyperdynamics Corp against JP Carey and Joseph Canouse.
The case was settled on December 30, 2010 and Hyperdynamics issued shares to plaintiffs as part of settlement. This is filed in an 8k by Hyperdynamics and in the subsequent 10k:
