Besieged by StopRush, Philly Radio Station Sells at Loss of Millions
Just over a year after adding the Rush Limbaugh Show to their lineup, a Philadelphia radio station has succumbed to relentless pressure by online activists and sold for a loss of nearly 2 million dollars. Talk radio WWIQ launched in early 2012, shortly after Rush Limbaugh's infamous 3 day attack on Sandra Fluke. Limbaugh moved to the station from WPHT in June, 2012.
