help pd-1, etc lessen its effect on the number of T-cells activated? I do recall some deaths reported due to over stimulation in its trials.

I think the bp's that want to compete with the pd-1, etc. downstream crowd better blink "soon".

SK described in slide 13 how adding a downstream immuno, like PD-1, combines synergistically with bavi to further increase cytotoxic T-cells and also maintain their cytotoxic response to the tumor cells. These extra T-cells produce even more PS targets for bavi on the tumor cells. Showing this process now tells us that they have done the study already and learned the results.
