My apologies for the vagueness, I guess hearing local news has provided me with a few extra keywords for Google.

I will only talk about the campground here.

The link you posted says this at the top: "Development permit applications considered a discretionary use... ... are advertised in the Free Press and The Redwater Review subject to approval."

Sturgeon County + campground + landmine + Google = first 2 hits after the ad (on my Google), I like the second hit:

The reason the campground has relevance here is they are literally right across the road from On-Track. They need a Land Use Bylaw amendment and a Building Permit. The intersection landmine could be a major issue for not just the campground. You will see more about that issue in the link below.

Sturgeon County's web site has County Council agendas and minutes here: http://www.sturgeoncounty.ab.ca/government/PublicInput/AgendasandMinutes/tabid/633/Default.aspx

As you read or skim through that page, you will see council discussing among other things, the campground. That should give you an idea of what to look for going forward.

And then there is public hearings: http://www.sturgeoncounty.ab.ca/Portals/4/pub_1266_11_May%2021_28_FP.pdf

So what does this all mean? I think it means there will be a campground across the road from On-Track soon.

The last thing I want to do is piss anybody off here. But I will not be reading PM's because last time it was filled with nasty grams. I don't like nasty grams.

And yes my "superiors" know I was going to do this. You people have a tremendous power. Every time I post here, it's you people that nudge this thing along.

I am only here to post a few public links you may not have found on your own. There is no inside info here, just a little extra knowledge of local news. And nowhere here did I say the "G" word.

Good Luck to us all!
