MSNBC Goes on Nerd Hiring Spree

MSNBC today announced [ https://twitter.com/BenjySarlin/status/331527773510324226 ] it is hiring Benjy Sarlin and Adam Serwer for its reporting team, on the heels of last week's announcement that it is hiring Suzy Khimm, in what is surely the biggest nerd hiring spree since Sputnik. Having turned Rachel Maddow into a television star and put Chris Hayes on prime-time television, apparently the network is opening the floodgates for brainy young reporter-analysts.
