Sending in the National Guard sounds just about right but Obama would NEVER do it. These people are seriously deranged.
Tea Party Legislator Suggests Man Who Lost Both Legs in Boston Bombings Wasn't Really Injured
It was the most iconic photo to come out of the Boston Marathon bombing tragedy.
I've chosen to upload a censored version of it above, but the original is easy enough to find. It depicts a shell-shocked man being wheeled swiftly toward medical help, 14" of bare tibia protruding from his leg, tattered shreds of flesh and muscle hanging around it.
Now NH State Rep Stella Tremblay (R-Auburn) is questioning whether Jeff Bauman was really even injured.
On a talk show earlier this week, Tremblay claimed the government had to be behind the attacks because Bauman wasn't screaming in the picture:
"Then, my first gut reaction seeing the horror of that person that has their legs blown off. You know, the bone sticking out? He was not in shock. I looked and I thought, there’s something. … I don’t know what’s wrong, but it seems surreal to me. I talked to my sister, who’s not into politics at all, and she said, 'Yes, I saw the same thing.' He was not in shock. He was not in pain. If I had had those type of injuries, I’d be screaming in agony."
Speaking on a sports radio show in Boston yesterday morning, Tremblay seemed to temper her suspicions a bit. But just a bit. She said she'd like to make it up to him, but it seemed more likely she just wanted to get a peek under the sheet to make sure his legs were gone:
"I would love to go and visit Jeff. I'd like to go and apologize to him ... if he was hurt"
Bauman, who lost both legs in the bombing but was instrumental in identifying the suspects, carried the Boston Strong flag out onto the ice at the Bruins playoff game this evening to a roaring crowd.
It's unclear if anyone checked to see if he was hiding his legs under his body.
