I had not touched OTC stocks, this was my 1st time. U could not invest on-line, u had to directly call up your broker to place a trade and no qeustions were asked at that time. This was in 2010, i havent traded OTC stocks for over a year, got burnt and stayed away, holding a few shares here & there.
Before Trading I had to fill out forms to trade American Markets as usual but that was about it.
New rules states that unless you are screened to trade some OTC stocks you will not be allowed to through my current brokerage..this never happened before.
Just felt strange that a brokerage firm would want to pay me back my investment and clear my account of these particular shares held on there??
Once again any insight is appreciated..
