Right on cue!!!

WND columnist calls for Muslims to be killed in wake of today's horror in Boston

You expected the wingnuts to start blaming Muslims for today's horrific bombings at the Boston Marathon. But one of them, WorldNutDaily's Erik Rush, is already calling for ALL Muslims to be lined up and shot. No, I'm not kidding.

Rush--a yayhoo who thought Democrats should have been brought up on treason charges if Romney won and once suggested Harry Reid should be dragged to death behind a truck-- took to Twitter literally minutes after the explosion and opined:

Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grab! Let's bring more Saudis in without screening them! C'mon! #bostonmarathon

When another Twitter user, @bloodonthemike, asked him if he was already pointing the finger at Muslims, Rush replied:

@bloodonthemike Yes, they're evil. Let's kill them all.

This is the best I could do to bring these tweets to you--unfortunately, Twitter's servers have gone crazy since the bombings, and I can't embed them.

Rush has, not surprisingly, been bombarded as a result. He now claims that he was just being sarcastic, and that Islamists use similar rhetoric every day. He also claims those calling him out are "Islamist apologist worms."

You expect lunacy from a WND columnist, but this goes way too far even by its standards.

2:50 PM PT: Quaroar reports in the comments that Rush took the "kill them all" tweet down, but is still tripping over himself defending it. He can't run from it, though--People for the American Way got a screen capture.
