The Jews were a problematic People, always challenging our
Father God and provoking Him to angry...a few...
ex...
America today can certainly be likened to the rebellious Jews.
We have been blessed by God and given so much, yet we have used
God's blessings as an opportunity to commit wickedness.
The Jews were ingrates, always doubting, always complaining,
always becoming discouraged, always speaking against Moses and
even God.
The Lord hates doubting.
Hebrews 11:6 teaches that it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without
faith.
This Scripture is so important to memorize, learn and obey.
HAVE FAITH IN GOD!

Notice Verse 5...

Hebrews 11:5-6, “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not
see death;
and was not found, because God had translated him:
for before his translation he had this testimony, that he
pleased God.
But without faith it is impossible to please him:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and
that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Enoch pleased God because he had faith.
Faith is the only thing that pleases God.
Faith is not complaining when things go wrong, but praying and
praising God instead.
Faith is not complaining when we are financially broke and
there's no food on the table, but praying and praising God
instead.
James 5:13 says if you're afflicted to pray.
Are we suffer the affliction of health problems, we ought to
pray and praise the Lord instead of complaining.
God hates complaining!!!

Deuteronomy 8:3 is so important to learn.
God deliberately allowed the Jews to go hungry, forcing them
into a bad situation to test them.
The Wilderness was an unforgiving place, which God purposely
sent the Jews into to test them...

Deuteronomy 8:15, “Who led thee through that great and terrible
wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and
drought, where there was no water;
who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint.”

Deuteronomy 32:24,
“They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning
heat, and with bitter destruction:
I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them,
with the poison of serpents of the dust.”

Deuteronomy 8:15 says that GOD LED the Israelites through
the desert Wilderness—great and terrible it was.
Deadly fiery serpents, stinging scorpions, drought (no water),
lack of food, biting creatures, the intolerable heat of the sun,
bitter misery and death surrounded them on every turn.
God led them into this horrible place of harsh and inhumane
conditions to force them to trust God.

My friend, God hasn't changed in 4,000 years.
Do you think God loved the Israelites more than you and I?
No, God loves all mankind.
If God tested the Jews to see if they would keep
His Commandments, then be assured that
He will also test you and I.
Will we obey God's Commandments or live according to
the selfish flesh?
Most people today are self-worshippers.
