Must read to understand why ADT might already be using one of the features and is obligated stop or RCI would ask for a license fee.

CEO of RCI applied for the patents in 2006 and predicted this technology before even the Iphone was invented which didn't hit the market until 2007, basically he predicted that the Smart phone would one day be able to have capabilities to be used for EYETALK technology, why is this important, will the patent was approved in March 2012 (just recently), which means anyone using any of the features would have to pay a license fee if they were allowed to continue to use it effective March 2012. Now without even the patents the IPO was $1.25/PPS in 2009, which at the time was just something you can imagine (basically and idea), now these patents are like getting an FDA approval, I just don't think people realize how valuable these patents are (explains why they waited so long to go to production).

It took RCI 5 years to get the patent approval http://www.patentbuddy.com/Patent/8139098
for their system and features, now companies like ADT ($3.1Billion in revenues last year so we could be talking big numbers) are required to ask for permission and IF RCI allows them to pay a license fee. Now with EyeTalk the home owner / business owner / hospital / school etc get the ALERT INSTANTLY or multiple parties get the alert and the option for the 2 way communication using smartphone / ipads etc; so their are no false alarms;;;

= IF you read about Eyetalk the system has a brain (it can even detect smell) to be programmed based on users preference, so you can have it Alert the police or other parties when an event takes place...

look how complex Eyetalk is just one patent:: http://www.google.com/patents?id=98QKAgAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4#v=onepage&q&f=false
