USGIF, Bob my understanding is that by 27 January 2013 all operations at Galena will have fully trasitioned to 24/7 schedule.
The hardrock miners previous schedule at Galena was three 8 hour shifts/5 days per week for 248 to 260 days per year for about 5952-6240 hours/yr underground vs. new schedule which will put miners underground for 7200 hours/year. Ex.... As Darren mentioned on the call, the new schedule will add about 15%-20% to mill throughput 2013 vs. 2012 by not only having miners spend more time below ground breaking rock, but also by reducing amount of time wasted traveling back and forth to the stopes (miners now take 2 trips back and forth underground daily vs. 3 trips previously) so the new schedule will result in miners having more time every day on the open faces. by petersburggray
