This ABC story on Venus Williams and her tragic diagnosis of Sjogren's disease really understates the seriousness of the disease. They talk about it being "debilitating" but the fact is, it is FATAL. The connective tissues dry up and contract. It is disfiguring, painful, and ultimately not survivable.

I certainly hope Prurisol is approved fast and people try it off-label for all these autoimmune diseases.
