Baltimore, Md. -- A 10-year-old girl hit by gunshots that rang out on New Year's Eve has died. Police believe she was hit by a stray bullet as area residents fired off guns to celebrate the new year. The girl was outside watching fireworks when she suddenly collapsed as a bullet fell from the sky and lodged in her brain.
Charlotte, N.C. -- On Tuesday night a 19-year-old was shot and killed and another man wounded.
Paterson, N.J. -- A 42-year-old man fired two shots at a 30-year-old woman in an apartment, killing her, then he shot and killed himself about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the two might have been romantically involved.
Lorain, Ohio -- A 33-year-old man died Tuesday of wounds suffered in an early morning shooting at a gas station. Three others were wounded with injuries considered non-life threatening. The incident apparently resulted from an earlier altercation at a club.
Eureka Springs, Ark. -- A 21-year-old woman was shot and killed in her apartment Monday. An 18-year-old male was arrested as a possible suspect.
Dickson, Tenn. -- A man is dead and another hospitalized after a Tuesday night shooting at a hotel.
Clay County, Fla. -- A man and a woman, both 23-years old, were found dead in a condominium about 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in what appears to be a murder-suicide. Police said the man shot the woman before killing himself.
Denver, Col. -- Two men were shot, one fatally, in a home about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday. A woman with three young children lives there and all were at the house during the shooting.
Chicago, Ill. -- The owner of a muffler shop was killed during a robbery by two armed men Wednesday night. The owner, a male, was shot in the back while running from his attackers.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 19-year-old man was shot in the head and killed as he drove on South Union Avenue about 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
Los Vegas, Nev. -- A 33-year-old man -- wanted in Texas for the recent shooting death of his 34-year-old wife -- shot and killed himself Wednesday as authorities closed in on him. The couple was going through a divorce.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- About 8 p.m. Wednesday a 25-year-old man was found on a street dead from a gunshot. A man believed to be connected to the shooting is in a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
Harris County, Texas -- A shooting at an apartment complex about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon has left a woman dead and a man critically wounded.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man just before midnight.
Norwalk, Calif. -- Police found the body of man on a street about 4 a.m. Wednesday. He had been shot.
Detroit, Mich. -- A 48-year-old cab driver is dead and a 46-year-old woman passenger is in critical condition following a shooting at about 4:30 a.m. this morning. Police said an argument between the cab driver and a male passenger led to the incident. The passenger fired shots, striking the driver and woman.
Miami, Fla. -- Police are investigating the shooting of a 5-year-old boy Wednesday morning. Three men inside the apartment where the boy was shot are in custody. The boy is recuperating at a local hospital.
Avondale, La. -- A 25-year-old woman driving home from work about 4 a.m. Tuesday morning was shot in the leg when she drove past an apparent shootout between two moving vehicles. She is expected to recover.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 25-year-old man was on a street when he was shot in the leg by one of two men wearing ski masks.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 32 year-old man was shot by a cousin who lives with the man’s mother. The two were arguing on a street when the cousin, a 23-year-old male, shot the man seven times. The victim is in critical condition.
Houston, Texas -- Police say at least three people were wounded in a drive-by shooting outside a house during a party.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- A 33-year-old man was shot and wounded about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday while inside his vehicle. A man in another vehicle pulled up to his car and shot the victim several times, striking him once in the arm.
Baltimore, Md. -- A 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the arm around 7 p.m. Wednesday on West Fayette Street. He was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Tulsa, Ok. -- A 31-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was shot in a robbery attempt outside a townhouse about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Milwaukee, Wis. -- A 19-year-old man was shot on a street around 8:25 p.m. Wednesday. He was treated at a local hospital.
Chapel Hill, N.C. -- A man was shot about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday during a fight outside a restaurant. Police are looking for three men in connection to the shooting.
Point Pleasant, W.Va. -- Two men are hospitalized after they were shot by another man at an apartment complex about 7 p.m. on Tuesday. An argument led to one of the men firing a shotgun through a window and into the kitchen.

Sacramento, Calif.-- Two people are dead and three people hurt after a New Year's Eve shooting.
Lake Conroe, Texas -- A 58-year-old businessman has been charged in the shooting death of his 56-year-old wife at their home. Police arrived at a gated subdivision about 7 p.m. Sunday and found the women dead with multiple gunshot wounds to her upper torso and head. Police said the family had just returned from a trip and the shooting occurred after an argument.
Rusk County, Wis. -- A 65-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting death on Sunday of a 65-year-old woman.
Augusta, Ga. -- A 21-year-old man was fatally shot outside a nightclub around 2:30 a.m. Monday night. The incident apparently started as an argument inside the club and it moved out to the parking lot. The man killed was not part of the argument and was believed to be an innocent bystander.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- A 17-year-old male was shot in the head early Tuesday morning after an argument at a house party.
Durham, N.C. -- A 33-year-old man was shot and killed on a street early Tuesday morning by an unknown suspect.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- Police found a man lying face down on the floor of a residence about 5:20 a.m. this morning. They suspect he opened the back door and was shot. He was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.
Newark, N.J. -- A 20-year-old man was killed in a shooting Monday afternoon. A bystander -- a 33-year-old woman -- was wounded.
Montgomery, Ala. -- A man burglarizing a home Monday morning is wanted in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old man in the home.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- A man was shot and killed on a street early Tuesday morning. Police say the death might have been related to a fight in the area.
Houston, Texas -- A 29-year-old man was shot and killed late Sunday outside a convenience store.
Cleveland, Oh. -- After getting a call reporting shots fired in the area, police early Monday morning found a wounded man on a front porch. He died at the scene.
Kansas City, Mo. -- A 27-year-old man was found on Sunday afternoon shot to death inside a car parked.
LaPlace, La. -- A 27-year-old man is dead from multiple gunshot wounds. He was found about 11 a.m. Monday morning lying on the edge of a clearing near the end of a street.
Memphis, Tenn. -- A 6-year-old girl was wounded Monday night in a shooting at an apartment complex. The girl’s mother said gunfire erupted near her apartment. The child was in an upstairs bedroom when she was struck.
Jacksonville, Fla. -- Police believe celebratory gunfire struck an eight-year -old boy in the foot as he waited with his family to see the downtown fireworks display on New Year’s Eve.
St. Petersburg, Fla. -- A 57-year-old woman was shot in the hand by a stray bullet just after midnight New Year’s Eve as she sat on a patio at the St. Pete Yacht Club. Celebratory gunfire is the likely cause of the incident.
Nashville, Tenn. -- A 44-year-old-man was shot twice -- in the leg and back -- and taken to the hospital early Monday morning with critical injuries.
Lorain, Oh. -- A 30-year-old man was shot twice in the leg during a fight outside a bar early Sunday morning.
Indianapolis, Ind. -- A shooting late Monday night in the parking lot of a fast-food restaurant left one person critically injured. The victim was shot in the chest.
Birmingham, Ala. -- A man in his 20s has a potentially fatal injury after he was shot early Monday morning outside a restaurant. The shooting is believed related to a fight.
O'Fallon, Mo.-- A 49-year-old man is facing charges after he became drunk and began shooting a 12-gauge shotgun outside his mobile home about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. One round hit his front porch, two other rounds hit an adjacent mobile home occupied by eight people, including an infant who was asleep in a bedroom.
Belmont, N.C. -- A police officer and a woman were shot in an incident late Monday night. The injuries are not considered life threatening.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg early Tuesday morning while attending a party at a home.

Smyrna, Ga. -- One person is dead after a Sunday night shooting. Someone knocked at the front door of a home and a resident of the home refused to open it. The unwelcome visitor then fired several shots before fleeing. At least one shot entered a bedroom, striking and killing someone inside.
Butte, Montana -- The boyfriend of a missing 41-year-old Anaconda, Montana woman was found dead in Missoula on Saturday, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Chicago, Ill. -- The body of a 19-year-old man was found in an alley about 11:30 a.m. Sunday morning. He was shot several times.
Chicago, Ill. -- Police said someone walked up to a car about 10:10 p.m. and shot the three people sitting inside, killing one of them. The dead victim, a 19-year-old man, was shot in the abdomen. The other two are still alive -- a 19-year-old shot in the face and shoulder, and a 25-year-old man shot in the back and buttocks.
Hattiesburg, Miss. -- A 19-year-old man at an apartment complex was shot in the chest and killed.
Detroit, Mich. -- Police arrested two men, ages 20 and 21, in connection with a shooting two months ago that killed a 27-year-old man and injured a 4-year-old boy, a 26-year-old man. and a 31-year-old woman. The two men are accused of opening fire on the four victims as they sat on a front porch.
Miami, Fla. -- Police on Sunday were still looking for the man suspected of shooting and killing his 42-year-old ex-girlfriend outside a drugstore Friday afternoon. According to police, the man confronted the victim, then taunted and shot her several multiple times.
Newark, N.J. -- A 22-year-old man was shot and killed on a street and a 26-year-old man was wounded early Monday morning.
Shawnee, Okla. -- Two men have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a man whose body was found near a dam on Saturday.
Greensburg, Penn. -- Police arrested three people involved in the shooting of a 24-year-old man found dead in the hallway of a mobile home around 1 p.m. Saturday. The victim was shot multiple times in the head. Police continue to look for the suspect accused of pulling the trigger.

New York, N.Y. -- A 24-year-old man was found shot and killed sitting in the passenger seat of a car about 1:40 a.m. Monday morning. He had wounds in the head and neck.

Washington, D.C. -- A 22-year-old man was found fatally shot in a car about 8 p.m. Saturday night. Two other men believed to have gunshot wounds from the same incident were later found at a nearby hospital.
Tuscaloosa, Ala. -- An 18-year-old man was shot in the back and killed early Sunday at a Tuscaloosa club.
Fort Smith, Ark. --A 23-year-old man has been arrested in the shooting death of a 21-year-old woman. The man is believed to have fired several shots into a vehicle that the woman was sitting in. She died at a hospital from a gunshot wound in her lower back.

Detroit, Mich. -- A lunch-hour argument inside a bar turned lethal when two men went outside and started fighting. Shots were fired, killing one of the men.
Biddeford, Maine -- A 19-year-old man and his 18-year-old girlfriend were shot to death inside a house they rented. A third person shot, identified as the man’s mother, has non-life threatening injuries. Police arriving at the house about 7 p.m. Saturday night were held at bay for several hours by a 74-year-old man who owns the house. He was arrested and charged with two counts of murder. Polices are trying to determine if a landlord-tenant issue was related to the shootings.

Des Moines, Iowa -- A 27-year-old man was found shot to death near a trash container Saturday evening. A suspect has been arrested.
Durham, N.C. -- Two girls, ages 14 and 12, and a 16-year-old boy have been charged in the shooting death of a 35-year-old man during a carjacking on Friday night.
North Little Rock, Ark. -- Two brothers, ages 20 and 21, were charged with murder in connection with a man found shot to death Thursday night.

Minneapolis, Minn. -- A man was charged with two felony counts Thursday, two weeks after his 4-year-old son accidentally shot and killed his 2-year-old brother. The 4-year-old was playing with one of his father's eight guns.
Greenwood Village, Colorado -- A man found dead in his apartment Thursday afternoon from a self-inflicted gunshot to the head is a person of interest in the shooting death of a 25-year-old woman Thursday morning. The man worked with the woman at a bank until two weeks ago when he was fired for harassing the woman.
Chicago, Ill. -- A man standing outside a store around 9 p.m. Thursday was killed when someone walked up and shot him in the head.
Pembroke Pines, Fla. -- A woman shot a man outside a shopping center before turning the gun on herself, taking her own life.
New Orleans, La. -- Police reported two separate shooting deaths within about one hour. A man was found shot to death on a sidewalk in the 6th Ward about 4:20 p.m. Thursday afternoon. About an hour earlier, a man in the 7th Ward died outside a house from a shot in the back of the head.
Houma, La. -- Police say a 53-year-old Houma pastor died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home after hitting a 7-year-old boy with his car and leaving the scene. The boy was riding a motor scooter and knocked unconscious but woke up when officers arrived. He was treated for bruises and a concussion and is recovering well.
Philadelphia, Penn. -- Two men were shot in a vehicle on Titan Street. One man died; the other survived and is in critical condition.
Houston, Tex. -- A 44-year-old man has been charged in the shooting deaths of his 35-year-old former girlfriend and her 13-year-old daughter on Christmas Eve morning.
Montgomery, Ala. -- Responding to a shooting in the parking lot of a business about 10 p.m. Thursday, police found an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old male had both been shot. The 18-year-old was later pronounced dead, the 17-year-old is in stable condition. An initial investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two teens.
Nashville, Tenn. -- An 18-year-old died Thursday, a day after he was robbed and shot in the head in North Nashville.
Akron, Ohio -- A 20-year-old man reported that he was in his apartment about 3 p.m. Thursday when another man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The suspect took the man’s money, shot him in the leg, and ran out of the apartment.
San Diego, Calif. -- A man and woman, both 18-years-old, were shot while sitting in a minivan outside a residence about 10:20 p.m. The wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.
Jacksonville, Fla. -- Several people were involved in an altercation in the parking lot behind a shopping-center pizza restaurant that led to gunfire Thursday night about 10 p.m. One man received a gunshot wound to the hand.
Jacksonville, Fla. -- A 17-year-old was arrested when police discovered he carried a loaded gun into a movie theater Christmas night
Tulsa, Okla. -- A 27-year-old man is hospitalized in serious condition after he was shot multiple times at an apartment complex around 11 p.m. Thursday. The incident started when the man and an acquaintance got into an argument. The acquaintance then fired several rounds from a semiautomatic handgun, hitting the victim in the torso.

Conway, S.C. -- A 2-year-old boy died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound on Christmas evening. The gun was on a table and the boy was able to grab it. His father, the owner of the gun, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter.
Chicago, Ill. -- A 32-year-old man died late Wednesday after he was shot in the face, chest and arms in the Gage Park neighborhood.
Pasadena, Calif. -- A 49-year-old L.A. County Sheriff's Department employee and youth sports coach was fatally shot on Christmas Day -- apparently hit by a stray bullet. He was talking to a friend on the street when about nine shots rang out in the neighborhood.
Pembroke Park, Fla. -- A woman at a gun range apparently shot herself Wednesday and later died.
Jacksonville, Fla. -- Police said Thursday morning the body of male appearing to be in his late teens or early 20s was found in a lot near East 27th Street and Evergreen Avenue. He had gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Des Moines, Iowa -- A Des Moines man shot at least six times earlier this month died on Christmas Day. The victim was sitting in a vehicle on December 6th when someone fired several shots into it and fled.
Clifton, N.J. -- A 60-year-old man who shot his 61-year-old wife and himself on Christmas Day has died. The woman remains hospitalized with a bullet wound in the back.
St. Louis, Mo. -- A woman was killed and a man critically injured early today in a double shooting.
Phoenix, Ariz. -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding out who shot and killed a 23-year-old man just before midnight on Christmas Day.
Jacksonville, Fla. -- A drive-by shooting Wednesday night left a man in his mid-20s with life-threatening injuries.
Washington, D.C. -- Four people were shot in separate incidents on Wednesday, one critically.
Macon, Ga. -- A 38-year-old Macon woman is in custody after a Wednesday shooting that wounded her husband in the shoulder. The couple was arguing before the shot was fired.
Kent, Wash. -- A woman was shot in the hand after her ex-husband drove his pickup into a home and fired a gun before driving away. It was reported that three children were in the home at the time of the incident.
Three Points, Ariz. -- A 61-year-old woman was shot in the chest Wednesday afternoon during a home invasion. The woman shot her gun at the attackers, but it is not known if she hit anyone. Although in critical condition, her injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
San Diego, Calif. -- Police are looking for the person who shot and wounded a man on a boat in a marina early Thursday.
Lemon Grove, Calif. -- A bullet fired from a car shattered the window of another vehicle Tuesday night, just missing the driver and her 10-year-old son.

Memphis, Tenn. -- A 10-year-old boy died Christmas Day in a shooting that appears to be accidental. A preliminary investigation indicates that the victim and his 12-year-old brother were handling a handgun when it went off. An adult family member was present but unaware the children had discovered the gun, which had been kept in a bedroom.
Wauwatosa, Wis. -- Authorities continued to seek help from the public for leads in the Christmas Eve slaying of 30-year-old Wauwatosa Police Officer Jennifer Sebena. She was shot several times early Monday while on duty.
Bellevue, Wash. -- A 30-year-old Seattle man was shot and killed and another man injured in a Bellevue bar early Monday. About 600 people were inside the bar when about five gunshots were fired.
Chicago, Ill. -- An 18-year-old man was killed after he got into an argument with several people on a bus and was shot several times after he got off.
Chicago, Ill. -- Shootings wounded five people across Chicago Christmas evening and early this morning, including an 11-year-old boy.

Police said the family had just returned from a trip and the shooting occurred after an argument.

Houma, La. -- Police say a 53-year-old Houma pastor died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home after hitting a 7-year-old boy with his car and leaving the scene. The boy was riding a motor scooter and knocked unconscious but woke up when officers arrived. He was treated for bruises and a concussion and is recovering well.

The 18-year-old was later pronounced dead, the 17-year-old is in stable condition. An initial investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an argument between the two teens.
Nashville, Tenn. -- An 18-year-old died Thursday, a day after he was robbed and shot in the head in North Nashville.
Akron, Ohio -- A 20-year-old man reported that he was in his apartment about 3 p.m. Thursday when another man pulled out a gun and demanded money. The suspect took the man’s money, shot him in the leg, and ran out of the apartment.
San Diego, Calif. -- A man and woman, both 18-years-old, were shot while sitting in a minivan outside a residence about 10:20 p.m. The wounds are not believed to be life-threatening.
