the drama queens in congress are really getting disgusting. looks like grover norquist got a Tea enema, he is really going apeshit trying to save face. i am still not sure what got resolved, as they just pushed the sequester down the road, and that debt ceiling limit rodeo is still on deck.
That is one that i honestly don't understand... repubs control the house, and have power over appropriations bills, so why is it that obama has to spend a bunch of political capital to get the fricking debt ceiling raised? So then he has less to spend on gun control, etc.
In the last day or so, it seems like there was major crazy reversals, etc., so many i quit even paying attention.
Now the common guy is going to get 2% less due to payroll tax, and the truly rich still have their capital gains tax at 15%, which means no change for most of them. Mitt is probably laughing from some padded cell somewhere. a very small percentage of the very rich are actually going to see any change at all, as their effective rates will barely budge in most cases. All this brinksmanship over such total horseshit. At least cantor ended up looking like an ass, as his tantrum failed. That is the only positive i see out of the whole thing.
