MM means Market Maker. Think of him as the grocery store. The grocer
has a supply of apples & oranges. The MM has a supply of stocks.
You place an order with your broker. The broker will supply out of
his own inventory or go to the MM to get stock.
TA means technical analysis. Technical analysis involves chart reading,
stock price, volume of stock moved etc. The other way to analyze a stock is
thru fundamental analysis. This involves what a company actually does.
Check with Google too. Ask what does MM mean and what is TA. Investopedia
