If you have a "Pinksheet stock", there is NO way of knowing, unless they are Pink but still file, or mentioned it in a past PR, that a "reversesplit" is coming, until the daily list goes out. So for "Pinks", you'll want to watch that board.
For OTC's that file, all you have to do is go here, http://www.otcmarkets.com/home put the symbol in, and look at the filings.
"ReverseSplits" are usually mentioned in Pre14's or 8k's. Also, that same site will give you the "reverse split" history of a stock.
Put the ticker in, go to Company Info, and then look under Security Notes, and it will tell you of any splits, both forward and reverse, under that.
